- 4:45 AM – 7:30 AM: Sunrise at Angkor Wat
- Your Easy Rider guide picks you up early to beat the massive tour buses.
- Ride through the crisp morning air to watch the sun rise directly behind the iconic towers of Angkor Wat.
- Spend 1.5 to 2 hours exploring the world's largest religious monument with your guide.
- 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Off-Road to Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider Temple)
- Hop back on the motorbike. Your guide will steer away from the main asphalt roads, navigating shaded jungle single-tracks along the ancient temple moats.
- Arrive at Ta Prohm, the mystical temple left largely as it was found, consumed by the massive strangler fig tree roots.
- 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: The Giant Faces of Angkor Thom & Bayon
- Cruise through the monumental South Gate of Angkor Thom, lined with stone statues of gods and demons.
- Explore Bayon Temple, famous for the 216 enigmatic, smiling stone faces carved into its towers.
- 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Authentic Khmer Lunch
- Ride to a quiet, local family-run eatery inside the archaeological park boundary for traditional dishes like Fish Amok or Beef Lok Lak.
- 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Preah Khan & Sunset Cruise
- Visit Preah Khan, a massive, less-crowded labyrinthine temple complex featuring an architectural fusion of Buddhist and Hindu history.
- Conclude your day with a scenic motorbike cruise back to Siem Reap as the afternoon light settles over the ancient landscape.
- 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Local Markets & Preah Dak Village
- Leave the city behind and head deep into the Cambodian countryside via red dirt roads.
- Stop at an authentic, non-touristy morning market to see local trading, exotic fruits, and fresh produce.
- Ride to Preah Dak Village, a local hub where you will witness villagers scaling trees to harvest sap for traditional palm sugar making and sample fresh palm cakes.
- 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Rice Paddies & Cottage Industries
- Cruise past endless expanses of emerald-green rice fields, water buffaloes, and traditional stilted houses.
- Interact with welcoming locals and stop to see rural cottage crafts like handmade bamboo sticky rice (Kralan) or traditional weaving techniques.
- 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Countryside Lunch
- Enjoy a relaxed, open-air lunch at a local restaurant or home-stay deep in the rural commune.
- 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Beng Mealea (The Untamed Jungle Temple)
- Ride roughly 60 km northeast of Siem Reap to Beng Mealea, a raw, unrestored temple completely overtaken by vegetation, vines, and hanging ferns.
- Because it requires a longer journey, the ride out on a motorbike is a phenomenal, visceral way to experience rural Cambodian geography.
- 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Sunset Over the Floodplains
- On the ride back to town, your guide will pull over at a scenic vantage point in the open rice fields to watch a spectacular, uninterrupted Cambodian sunset over the flats
