3 Days Siem Reap Easy Rider to Thailand border

3 Days Siem Reap Easy Rider to Thailand border
Tour Itinerary

An Easy Rider motorbike journey from Siem Reap to the Thailand border is a fantastic way to escape the standard highway routes and experience Cambodia’s authentic, hidden interior. The most efficient and scenic route target is the Poipet / Aranyaprathet border checkpoint, which sits approximately 151 kilometers northwest of Siem Reap. This comprehensive, highly visual 3-day itinerary balances remote dirt tracks, hidden temples, and rural communities, culminating at the international border line.

Day 1: Siem Reap to Banteay Chhmar (Deep Countryside & Jungle Ruins) ( L, D )
  • Morning (08:00 AM): Meet your Easy Rider driver/guide in Siem Reap. Strap your luggage to the back of the bike. Escape the city using red dirt backroads via Puok District, bypassing the boring tarmac of National Road 6.
  • Midday: Stop at local silk-weaving villages and remote rice fields. Have a traditional lunch of Bai Sach Chrouk (pork and rice) or Khmer noodles at a roadside shack.
  • Afternoon: Ride north toward the remote province of Banteay Meanchey. Arrive at Banteay Chhmar, a massive, ruined 12th-century temple engulfed by the jungle. Because it gets very few tourists, you can explore the stunning, carved face-towers in complete peace.
  • Evening: Stay in a rustic, authentic local homestay arranged by the Banteay Chhmar Community-Based Tourism (CBT) initiative, and share a home-cooked dinner with a Khmer family.
Day 2: Banteay Chhmar to Sisophon (The Dirt Track Adventure) ( B, L, D )
  • Morning: Fuel up on local coffee and hit the dirt trails tracking south toward Sisophon. Your Easy Rider guide will navigate narrow single-tracks, water buffalo crossings, and bamboo bridges.
  • Midday: Pull into a local village market to try seasonal fruits and traditional Khmer snacks. Enjoy a relaxed lunch by a local reservoir.
  • Afternoon: Arrive in Sisophon (Serei Saophoan), a lively, untouristed Cambodian hub. Climb the steps up to the hilltop pagoda of Phnom Svay for a sweeping panoramic view of the surrounding floodplains at sunset.
  • Evening: Check into a comfortable local hotel in Sisophon and enjoy a dinner of fresh freshwater fish and cold local beer.
Day 3: Sisophon to Poipet Border Checkpoint (The Border Dash) ( B)
  • Morning (08:30 AM): Take a final 50-kilometer ride west along the historic highway and rural side-paths leading straight to the edge of Cambodia.
  • Midday (10:00 AM): Safely arrive at the Poipet International Border Checkpoint. Your Easy Rider team will help drop you off directly at the Cambodian departure terminal. End The Tour .
